Roofed Camping in Ontario – Mid Week in November Still Open

We checked every yurt and cabin at the Ontario Parks that rent them in November. The Nov 6–8, 13–15 and 20–22 weekends are almost entirely booked, but Sunday to Thursday there’s still room at Silent Lake, MacGregor Point, Killarney, Arrowhead and Pinery. Plus cottages beyond Ontario Parks at Albion Hills and Limberlost, what’s inside a yurt and a cabin, and when the first snow usually arrives.

Fall Colours Camping in Muskoka and Algonquin: Where You Can Still Get a Site

We checked every night to October 24 at Algonquin, Arrowhead, Killarney and Six Mile Lake. Plus 35 mm of rain, a tornado-warning drive home, and the removed Burley access road — now explained by the province’s “Rewilding Burley” restoration plan.
